The Research and Development organisation for the entire Dalton Group is based upon three decentralized laboratories located at the factories sites.
All research is coordinated by Dalton where the Groups Headquarters is located and where works are carried out with the help of University Institutes.
The Gruppo Chimico Dalton, together with other major Italian Industrial Groups and Universities, works in connection with the C.N.R. (National Research Center) particularly for the tanning industry.
In past years most of the research and development work done by the Group has been devoted to the solution of the following problems:
- To develop new formulation for the traditional products in order to reduce their negative ecological impacts
- To eliminate the ecological risks related to its own factories processes
- To reduce the costumers ecological problems, due to the use of chemicals in their own processes, through better effluent treatment and or reduction of the use of chemicals in their processes
- To develop new hi-tech materials to endure 'extreme conditions' in the aerospace industry
The Uclit Spaceprint technic, employing in finishing a particular siliconic polymer studied by Dalton, permitted for the first time to the colours of the flag of the Esa Nasa space lab to resist to the cosmic stress: 28.000 km/hour, at 200 km from the earth, for 160 orbits, with sudden changes temperature from 150°C to +200°C
| XX Congresso Nazionale di Chimica Analitica |
|
Gruppo Chimico Dalton has presented a scientific study concerning a New Product for the reduction of Chrome (VI) in cement: Decrom® CF 332, wrote in cooperation with the Chemical Department "Paolo Corradini" of the University Federico II of Naples and presented during the "XX Congresso Nazionale di Chimica Analitica", organized by the Department of Environmental Science of Tuscia University and by the Analytical Chemistry Division of the Italian chemical Company, hold from September 16 to September 20th,
2007 in
S. Martino al Cimino (VT).
This year the attention has been focalized on the Feed and Environment sectors,
During the Congress, that has obtained a wide success on national level, have been presented studies concerning all the various specialties of the analytical chemistry: feed, environment, cultural goods, bioanalytic, chemometric, electroanalityc, equilibrium in solution and thermodynamic of the complex, proteomic, forensic science, sensors, mass spectrometer, analytic spectrometer, separation and combined techniques.
