Chimeco factory was established in Buccino (Salerno) in the early ‘90s to produce Modified Tanning Agents developed in Gruppo Chimico Dalton’s Research & Development laboratories.

The manufacturing process, based on Chrome chemistry, needed a new advanced unit formed by plants and efficient control structures guaranteeing constant product quality as well as environment protection and staff safety. Now Chimeco has achieved ISO certification for quality and environment.

Since 2003 Chimeco has been manufacturing a large range of syntans named Daltan and Dalsint. The capacity of the three units is currently more than 40,000 tons/year of tanning products, allowing us wide spread in Italy and an important world-wide presence.
