The Coating department includes a wide range of the Dalton Chemical Group production and works in various sectors, as paints and printing inks, glassware, pharmaceutical and optic glass, plastics and rubber, ceramic and brick, galvanic fields and electronics.
During 1948, the Milan Dalton factory exclusively produced textile and tanning auxiliaries. With the realization of the new and modern Limbiate factory, in 1978, an important productive evolution of auxiliaries, additive agents and coadjutors of process occured.
In 1987, the Dalton Chemical Group acquired I.C.S. (Industria Chimica Subalpina)now Iciesse S.p.A., producer of precipitated barium sulphate, commonly known as Blanc Fixe, Zinc phosphate and Lithopone, doing, in this way, an important quali-quantitative jump in the coating sector either in Italy, where it holds the market-leader position, or in export markets.
These productions are realized in the Arquata Scrivia and Limbiate factories, for a total capacity of approximately 35,000 tons per year, in technologically advanced plants, guarantee of a constant quality, with all the most modern requests of intrinsic and environmental safety.
