 Set up in 1984 as a financial instrument of Dalton Spa, the parent company founded in 1948, the Dalton Group has changed in a short time from a more instrument into a real financial holding having control over all the companies in the Group.
Supported as it is by a young and dynamic commercial network as well as by widespread experienced technical assistance, the Dalton Group becomes known on the Italian market as a producer of high quality chemical products, developing its activities in the following sectors:
- Tanning
- Textile
- Pharmaceutical
- Coating (for the production of paints)
- Building (for the production of additives and superplasticizers to be used in mortar and concrete)
- Ecology and environment control
The Group is currently made up of three plants located in Italy. Besides the Dalton S.p.A. plant, which is the Group’s headquarter located at Limbiate (Milan), other plants among which Iciesse S.p.A. at Arquata Scrivia (Al) and Chimeco S.p.A. at Buccino (Sa) a production unit, are to be mentioned.
This internationally-oriented attitude has encouraged the Group to sell its products more and more on foreign markets thanks to the diversification of its production lines as well as to a widespread agents' network.
Actually since the Eighties up to now the Dalton Group's sales have considerably increased on foreign markets, growing from an initial 10% to almost 60%, with the Group imposing itself on over 40 Countries.
